Eset smart security premium serial 2020. I had the same issue and was the primary reason why I had a difficult time trying to use Windows 8 as a main OS. My laptop's manufacturer site didn't have a newer driver than the one I had from 2010.

Oddly I thought I had an Alps touch pad as the hardware ID said it was and the Dell driver indicated this, but in fact I have Synaptics v7.2.

So this may work for both Synaptics and Alps touch pads. It may load on nonDell laptops (as I used Lenovo BT drivers as the Dell ones kept crashing my BT)can understand most dutch, but just click.
