Ancient Greek Art. The term Ancient, or Archaic, Greece refers to the time three centuries before the classical age, between 800 B.C. And 500 B.C.—a relatively sophisticated period in world history. Archaic Greece saw advances in art, poetry and technology, but most of all it was the age in which the polis, or city-state, was invented.
I worked on this, and my contributions were featured in the stuff beneath the 'Heroes on Both Sides' header (which is probably not the section you're talking about, but I'm gonna take the compliment anyway!)This book was so great to work on. Before I got hired as a freelancer for FFG, I was doing fan RPG content for D20, most notably the 500+ page Clone Wars fan sourcebook. So being able to revisit an era I love so much was really special for me. So glad this finally got announced!Ahhhh the old Fandom Comics sourcebook days.
BTW that was a Helluva book that got a lot of use at my table, Keith!Yancy. NPCs tend to diverge greatly from PCs in the way they turn out in these games.
Legacy Era
NPCs tend to have greatly increased Characteristics overall compared to PCs, but far fewer talents and, as you've noticed, WT.I recall a PC having the wounds and soak of a rancor due to upgrade choices and a suit of power armor. I had to remind myself this was 2 years into a campaign with 1000+ xp. The stats for the NPCs in the article are probably 500xp or so, very strong still compared to beginner characters and low-xp characters. Incidentally, I had held out hope for some Saga-style Rebels cartoon also.
Rebellion Era

Nice to see you're getting paid for it now.? Edited August 10, 2018 by JorArns.
I'm curious just how much it will truly explore the 'Heroes on Both Sides' idea, as everythig I've seen for Clone Wars is pretty much a clear Jedi & Republic Good/Separatists Bad divide. It's also somewhat telling that while Clones get a species and specialized careers, nothing is mentioned of either of those for Separatist droids.
Jedi also get a Career, but I don't expect a Sith Career in this time period as there are already three of them active. Oh well, at least the Seps get Geonosians.?That guy Ahsoka had the hots for was presented as a 'good' separatist. Until he defected. The droid species is already covered, why would seppie droids be different? Same reason that Clones are now distinct from Humans: a tighter focus. It wouldn't be hard to have several 'subspecies' of Sep Battle Droids and a Career specifically for them.I'll wait and see. While my own pass at a 'Clone' species was built with that focus in mind, I also know a lot of people just used human.
Since Mando and Correlian both proved to be rather simple mods over complete rebuilds, while I'm hopeful we'll see a 'species' built for a Soldiery Career, I'm expecting more of a human with a Soldiery special ability.Droids seem even less so since the current option is so flexible.Edited August 10, 2018 by Ghostofman.
